The project presents a synesthetic journey through the Sofia Botanical Garden. Inspired by the names, characteristics, and symbolic histories of flowers, Valentina Sciarra creates imaginary fairy tales that draw on European, Eastern, and African traditions. These narratives combine words, sounds, and scents in immersive sensory experiences, where language and sound evolve into hybrid and organic forms. 

Presenzia is the narrator voice, performed by the artist herself, and the original music are by the composer and sound artist Angelo Maria Farro.

Through simple gestures such as smelling, touching, and observing, the experience invites visitors to explore alternative ways of reconnecting with themselves, with others, and with nature, creating bonds between humans and nonhumans, visible and invisible, reality and imagination.  The deconstructed fairy tales and the soundtracks  will remain permanently accessible on-site via QR codes.
