With the beating of butterfly’s wings , the space becomes even more quiet

Installation
Wooden boards of different lengths, plastic ring, butterflies
3 m x 1 m
2015
The installation is an abstract composition of natural elements: wood planks and butterflies.
Several wooden planks are assembled in such a way as to recreate an ideal space on which for a moment they are laid butterflies.
Axes, placed vertically and circumscribed by a ring, define an abstract and precarious architecture; as precarious is the lull before soar of butterflies.
The installation is dedicated to the temporal correspondence between the architectural structure of the axes and the moment of butterflies’s rest. It would appear in fact that the axes are posing vertical only thanks to the weight (derisory) of butterflies.
Finally after having taken flight, the axes fall to the ground, unraveling the composition.
